Solaris ... lies at 25 times a second

Strange. I saw a Russian film in the summer.

One of the shots in it was just like the view from up here.

- Solaris.

- Sorry?

The name of the film. Solaris.

Maybe.

I've forgotten what it was called. Solaris.

The only thing I remember was this image.

- I'm sorry if that's all you remember.

- The whole film was a bit of a mess.

A mess! Solaris is one of the best films.

I've ever seen.

Really? Why?

Film is a lie, 25 times a second ... and because it's all a lie, it's also the truth. 

Truth is a lie.

Every film tells us that.

In films, lies are dressed up as ideas and shown as truths.

That's my idea of utopia - the only one there is.

È curioso, l'estate scorsa ho visto un film russo.

C'era una inquadratura identica alla vista che si ha da qui.

 "Solaris".

- Come dice?

- È il titolo di quel film: "Solaris".

Sì, forse. Ho dimenticato che il titolo è quello.

- Ma ricordo bene quell'inquadratura.

- Come mai?

- È un po' troppo confuso, per i miei gusti.

- Confuso?

"Solaris" è uno dei più bei film che abbia mai visto.

- Cosa c'è di così bello?

- Appare la bugia a 24 fotogrammi al secondo.

E poiché è tutto una sequela di bugie dichiarate, ... ne deriva che ... la bugia diventa verità.

Che la bugia e la verità siano la medesima cosa ... lo dicono tutti gli altri film, ... che però mascherano la bugia e la spacciano come assoluta verità.

In "Solaris", a mio avviso, vi è l'unica possibile utopia.
