Has man truly realized his dream?

To answer that, we must isolate the dream.

Was the dream to attain the ability to fly?

Or was the dream the freedom that true flight seemed to offer man?

We may also touch on the mortal damage man is doing to birds' environment in comparison to the piddling nuisance birds cause man.

It may someday be necessary to build enormous environmental enclosures to protect both man and birds.

But if so, it is questionable whether man will allow birds in or out, as the case may be.

Ha l’uomo veramente realizzato il suo sogno?

Per rispondere dobbiamo analizzare il sogno.

Il sogno era raggiungere la capacità di volare?

O era invece il sogno della libertà, che il vero volo sembrava offrire all’uomo.

Potremmo anche accennare ai danni mortali che l’uomo sta recando all’habitat degli uccelli confrontandoli con i pochi fastidi che gli uccelli recano all’uomo.

Un giorno, chissà, potrà rendersi necessaria la costruzione di immense riserve per la protezione delle condizioni ambientali dell’uomo e degli uccelli.

Ma in tal caso, è lecito chiedersi, se l’uomo permetterà agli uccelli di entrarvi.
