The earth is queen of beds

 

When a lizard mocks a turkey, he makes sure there is a tree nearby.
The wind which knocks down the baobab tree, only bends the stem of the wheat.
Covering the shadow does not prevent the thing itself from appearing.
The dead have no ambition, the earth is queen of beds.
 
Quando una lucertola prende in giro un tacchino, si assicura che ci sia un albero nelle vicinanze.
Il vento che abate il baobab non fa che piegare lo stelo del grano.
Coprire l’ombra non impedisce alla cosa stessa di apparire.
I morti non hanno ambizioni, la terra è la regina dei letti
