Winter in the blood

I'll leave believing we keep all we lose and love.

Volendo non essere dei soli fruitori/mangiatori di cinema si scoprono sempre nella polvere del web opere che lasciano il segno. Verso Winter in the Blood (2013) sono arrivato da Certain Women (2016) di Kelly Reichardt, inseguendo la filmografia di Lily Gladstone of  Blackfeet and Nez Perce heritage.

Con Winter in the Blood vengono alla luce un narratore, James Welch (1940-2003), un poeta, Richard Hugo (1923-1982), sua è la citazione d'apertura catturata dal film, e un band, gli Heartless Bastards, che sfora dal garage al roots rock. Vi è incluso anche  Robert Plant, singing Toussaint McCall's Nothing Takes the Place of You.

I am not alone.
